You can listen to Jeanette sing "Dreamer" on her website here and more here, which was written by our other lovely guest Louisa Branscomb.
|Louisa is a traditional/bluegrass songwriter extraordinaire!|
Louisa is a household name in bluegrass! She has not only has written 90 recorded songs you may know, but also a grammy worthy song that was a hit by John Denver, and sung by Allison Krauss. This song "Steel Rails" is to date the longest running song on the bluegrass charts. Everybody in bluegrass plays her music, either original or as a cover. Louisa is a pioneer in the bluegrass realm, being the first female to be a "Front man" in a band, where she played the banjo.
Louisa has so many accolades it would fill this whole page! She is an amazingly talented and lovely individual. Visit Louisa's website here, and listen to her latest CD "I'll Take Love" it's awesome!
