The future's so bright I have to wear plaid

The very first show at the new Harvester Performance Center will be Levi Lowery and our very own Kyle Forry and Justin Arnett from Franklin County (of Barefoot West)
Friday April 11, 2014
An Intimate Evening with Levi Lowery
w/ Kyle Forry and Justin Arnett
The Harvester is inviting you out to this first ever show for just $5 at the door.
This is not the big she-bang grand opening of The Harvester, that would be the Indigo Girls on Thursday April 24, 2014.

About Levi Lowery
LEVI LOWREY is set to release new self-entitled album through Southern Ground Records on Feb 25 (Stream the album in advance HERE). Single will be “PICKET FENCE” and will impact radio in February.  Special advance track “DECEMBER THIRTY-ONE” will be made available as a free download on December 31.  Levi’s following was built on strong musicianship and earnest songwriting earning him industry honors and multiple cuts on Artists records including the #1 ZBB hit Colder Weather.  He toured all year with ZBB, Alabama, The Mavericks, and Blackberry Smoke and formerly fronted alt-bluegrass outfit, Cadillac Sky on the sold out Mumford & Sons tour.

Kyle Forry and Justin Arnett were both born and raised in Franklin County, Virginia. They began playing and writing songs together in high school and have largely shared the same musical journey in the 15 years since.

Since Barefoot West began performing in bars, festivals, and venues in Southwest Virginia seven years ago, they haven’t stopped to take a breath. Their numerous public performances and local popularity led to them being voted “Best Local Band” by Laker Magazine every year from 2010 to 2013. They even appeared in Lake Effects, a 2010 film which was shot at nearby Smith Mountain Lake and televised nationally.

Forry and Arnett are working along fellow Barefoot West members; Jeff Maiden, Sonny Campbell, Wes Chappell, and Bob Casey on writing material for a new studio album to be recorded in the near future. Barefoot West plans to continue performing for years to come.
The future's so bright I have to wear plaid

Kyle said that his favorite color is plaid. If you attend this show, and are excited about the new Harvester Performance Center opening in Rocky Mount, we'll look for ya in plaid!

Nothing says Americana-Roots Music better than plaid. Homespun is always best.
